Course Description:

This two-day masterclass is designed to help HR practitioners explore scenario planning as a way of strengthening their ability to cope with uncertainty, reframing long-term strategies, and anticipating possible disruptions.

The global pandemic demonstrated the scale of disruption and ripple effects to organisations. HR practitioners needed to re-evaluate their ways of working, vaccination policies, work from home policies, recruitment, leadership upskilling, learning and development redesign, wellbeing and connection programmes, and upskilling on remote working technology.

This course will provide attendees with an eye-opening overview of trends and technologies already on the horizon, an opportunity to work through future scenarios, explore what would be disrupted and how their companies' current HR systems, processes and practices might cope.

  • Identifying impacts, challenges, and risks
  • Identifying capability gaps
  • Developing strategies and solutions

 

Teaching and Learning Methods:

The course will use a combination of presentations, group work, case studies, and discussions to encourage active participation and learning.

Resources and Support:

Attendees will be provided with course materials, including a template for reviewing potential impacts in their own organisation. They will also have access to the instructor for questions and support throughout the course.

Cancellation Policy

An appropriate substitute participant is welcome any time before the course starts. Please let us know the replacement's name. If you have booked on a member price and a non member is to attend in your place you will be invoiced for the difference in price.

A refund of fees will be made if a cancellation is received in writing at least 10 working days prior to the commencement of the course.

Regrettably, no refunds can be made for cancellations received after this date and you are liable for the full cost of attendance at the course.
